chat for people who can't sleep

i have a theory that i am more creative when i am starved of sleep....when i can't sleep i am far more creative, i can write with ease...but when i sleep i seem to have massive writers block, which for a writer is a nightmare.....has anyone else noticed the same thing...its kinda like my insomnia is my muse

I find myself thinking the same thing. But i think its just misleading. Lack of sleep just slows your brain down, if anything it hurts creativity. The reason why so many artists had sleep problems is not because during the night they were more creative but because they were crazy about what they do. They put so much into it that they couldn't sleep. Its more of a reflection of the person.

haha yeah,that's true
actually when I don't sleep I get more emotive and start writing things or drawing.
our mind works differently due to the lack of sleep.

What Kenan said is true. Our body and mind normally needs 6-8 hours of sleep everyday in order to conserve energy and to start a new day without worrying about exhaustion. Lack of sleep means cutting down the conservation of energy thus a slow down.
But...not for me actually ^-^;; I'd use this, "My day starts at 6pm." I work better at night and ideas on painting/drawing/writing are bursting when the clock strikes 10pm.

something random..
I don't get it why in the UK doctors don't give to patients sleeping pills or sthin for anxiety.I mean what happens if you have a REAL problem, not just for a week. They just leave you there to suffer?
what the heck.
